Online Seminar with Sealing Expert Stefan Bock
3M (Dyneon) recently announced that it will phase out all fluorinated compounds (PFAS) by the end of 2025. This will affect, among other things, all fluoropolymers relevant to sealing technology, such as PTFE (TF®, TFM®), FKM, and FFKM.
Even aside from the PFAS issue, these materials are already the subject of discussion from various quarters: shortages, price increases, and problems with recycling and disposal. Consequently, there is growing cause for concern about the future of these polymers.

I will attempt to explain the challenges facing the mechanical and plant engineering industries, which make significant use of fluoroplastic seals. This topic is particularly relevant to developers, procurement professionals, and product managers in the beverage bottling, food processing, pharmaceutical, and medical industries, as well as many manufacturers of pumps and valves.
I would really appreciate your feedback or comments on this webinar!
