Online-Seminar with sealing expert Stefan Bock
PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are currently a focus of attention for the European Commission. Restrictions on their production and use are being considered.
Fluoroplastics, particularly PTFE, also belong by definition to this group of chemical compounds. These materials have thus far been the material of choice for specialty seals, replacing standard seals made of rubber materials.
What alternatives already exist for manufacturing PFAS-free seals? Can materials without fluorinated compounds meet the demanding requirements for chemical and thermal resistance?
I would really appreciate your feedback on this webinar!
