The so-called paste extrusion is a manufacturing process for PTFE grades with specific molecular properties that enables the production of tubes and profiles. A wide range of tube diameters is available on the market. These range from so-called ultra-thin “spaghetti tubes” (with lumens below 1 mm) for minimally invasive surgery to linings for pipes and containers in the chemical industry that can exceed 1 m in diameter.
We currently source tubes in medium diameters from reliable suppliers in Europe and further process them by turning, milling, bending, marking and assembly.
